Almost the proud new owners of....

A VAN!!

Well, we got the van (refer to this posting) looked at by a mechanic. There were a few problems, but we renegotiated the selling price, and now we are getting those problems fixed, and picking up our new car tomorrow evening! It will never stop being funny to me, that we are the proud new owners (almost) of a "Fam Van", as my oldest sister always called them. But I couldn't be more excited for all the room, and not too bad of gas mileage (way better then the SUVs we were looking into...it's why we went with a van instead :)) Also, this van actually has more room then most the SUVs out there as well, so I am thrilled for that too! Can't wait to fill up the car with our bags, our two dogs, and our baby girl, and STILL be able to have room to breath! Ah, it will be so nice!

For those of you who don't know...right now we drive my little sports car (my pride and joy...my first big purchase on my own...we have been through so much together!) It seats 5...but really it only seats two. Someone can squish in the back if they want...but they most likely have to kink their head to the side and sprawl their legs out over the whole back seat. It's very low to the ground, and for me....being a giant and all....it has gotten VERY old, getting in and out of this little beast! Let alone being pregnant...I can't imagine what it would be like getting in and out of at 8 months pregnant! Also, it's only a two door car, so getting a baby in and out of the car, might have been the final straw for my poor feeble back! We definitely needed to upgrade to something more "family friendly" ...What is better then a van, really!?

But ain't she a beaut!!!! Ahh...my baby :(

So sad to sell her.
