While we were in Spokane, we stayed with John's mom.
John's nieces' kids were their also.
They are like, 8 and 4 or 5 I believe.
(and BOY do they love playing "horsie" with Uncle John!)
Anyways, the 8 year old asked us if we lived in a house or an apartment, and John told him that we lived in a trailer.
The kid just started LAUGHING!
HAHA!
He said, "Nuh-uh!"
John and I started laughing (even an 8 year old finds it funny!) and then John said "No seriously, we do!"
the kid said "No you dont live in a trailer!"
and then when he realized we really did, he sort of stopped laughing...like he felt bad for us or something.
HAHAHAHAH
It totally cracked us up. We LOVE our little trailer but we make fun of it all the time. How can you not? There is such a stereotype that goes along with living in a single wide trailer...it's fun to play it up! :)
