Swimmer girly

In Arizona Gianna loved jumping off the edge of the pool into our arms.
Over and over and over again.
But didn't like if her face went under water.

When we got to Denver she was suddenly afraid of water in general and jumping off the side was a bit of an issue with her.
We always had to hold her really close.

Then one day at the pool she just went nuts. She would jump "into our arms" except we'd let her just jump in and totally submerge herself and then we'd grab her and she LOVED it.
She also would fight us holding her, which was frustrating becuase she can't swim! Or float!

So we went to the store and bought a couple of things we thought might help because they were out of the puddle jumpers I KNEW would be great.
Nothing worked.
So I ordered the puddle jumpers online.
They came today and so we tested them out. Gianna LOVED it and they worked great.
She can even jump off the side of the pool into the water totally by herself.!
A good thin and a bad thing. Ha.

We went to the pool straight from the store in order to miss a storm and so I let her sit in the front seat on the drive through the apartment complex.
Mother of the year.

Just missed the storm! Sunny and HOT (99 degrees) while we were at the pool!
Everyone must have been avoiding the storm because Gianna and I were the ONLY people there for two hours. But it was sunny and bright so they were missing out!
