Today started out pretty rough.
I was sort of angry and feeling a little on edge
So I took Gianna out and we went on a bug hunt!
She loves bugs and loves flies
I was hoping we could find some lizards too but we didnt see any today.
Boo.
Gianna had a BLAST
we found a ton of ants (bugs) and she loved touching them and watching them run away for their lives. ha.
we also saw a few patches of flies....uhg. I hate flies
she LOVES them and would run through the cloud of flies (sick sick sick) swinging her arms around and laughing.
We were outside for about an hour when she found a puddle.
The only wet stop in AZ and of COURSE my daughter finds it, sits in it, and "washes her hair" with the mud.
*siiiiigh*
but she was having so much fun, how could i stop that?
Our neighbor came home shortly after Gianna started to wash her hair....
She has an 18 month old as well and couldnt believe i was letting gianna play in the mud. she wouldt even let her daughter step in it. ha. poor girl.
In all the commotion of our neighbor coming home (you have to know the girl. she is nice but DOESNT SHUT UP....its sort of one of those things where you have to slowly back away after 30 minutes of her talking your ear off about how bad her husband sucks/job sucks/money issues/friend issues.....etc) anyways....in all of that commotion i forgot to get a final picture of Gianna all covered in mud. CRAP.....
it was pretty priceless though.
You know i always have to attach WAY too many pictures to my blogs so here they come!

She was too preoccupied looking for bugs to smile, so this is about as good as i could get. ha
I love this picture because its how she was the whole time.
Hearing birds, or dogs, or kids playing and shed say "*GASP* WHATS THAT?!" and run away to find out
Ok these next pictures dont look like anything but there was a huge swarm of flies and gianna was in heaven.

Theeeen she noticed the leaky sprinkler...
"Look mom! A muddy puddle!"
"Hey mom, im just going to plop down and sit in it" .....whatever
"hey mom...im just gonna splash around a bit"
"Hey mom, look, i found a rock!"
