even more sleeping cuteness

Gianna has learned that her crib means its time to put herself to sleep

This SOUNDS like a good thing...and although it is, it's also a TERRIBLE thing.

She now knows that when I walk near her crib with her in my arms, it more than likely means shes about to be put it in by herself. 

This doesn't go over well with her.

Today was hard on my heart.

While walking towards the crib with Gianna in my arms, she CLUNG to me with a death grip, started to kick her legs (her temper-tantrum kicks) and then started to cry...

BEFORE i got her into her crib!

*sigh*

it was particularly hard to leave her today...

But alas, I did...

apparently the days of 10 minute cries are over, and now they are more like 30-40 minutes (at least during the day)

...at least for now

Today, after LOTS of crying (Gianna - not me), I went in to take my usual peek at how she has ended up...

This time she was laying AGAINST the bars of the crib....

SAD!

My poor girly..

Hopefully she will get used to this soon enough.

and then later that night at bedtime...

Laying on BOTH toys from Aunt Simo and on her "wristlet lovey" from Auntie Missy-miss

...notice she's in the same clothes from earlier and still no pants....haha! (her room gets warm...but still...im a bad mom)
