She's been woken up from all her naps the last few days WAY too early so I wasn't going to let it happen again!
I could tell she was tired so I made her "play" in her room and cry it out a bit in hopes she would fall asleep. She did an hour later but in the meantime I heard her ripping up paper. I wanted to check what it was but decided not to because If I go in it only prolongs the fight and makes the crying louder.
Look at this little stink bug.

Book all ripped up.
And if you look closely you can see some on her face, she was eating it.
